Good Investing disclaimer
Last updated: October 26, 2026
In short: education, not advice
- Everything we publish helps you learn about investing. It is general information, the same for every reader.
- We do not tell you to buy or sell anything. You make your own decisions, ideally with a licensed advisor.
- Investing carries risk. You can lose all the money you invest.
- Tilman, our authors and our guests may own the stocks we talk about.
- Some links earn us a commission (marked with *). Sponsors and some event participants pay us. We tell you when they do.
- Guests, speakers and Plus members speak for themselves.

- the Good Investing Talks podcast and our YouTube channel
- our newsletter
- our social media accounts, such as X, LinkedIn and Bluesky
- the Good Investing Plus community at plus.good-investing.net

2. Education, not advice
General information for everyone
Our content is for information and education. It is general and impersonal. It does not consider your goals, your finances or your risk tolerance.
Our content is not investment, financial, tax, legal or accounting advice. Reading, watching or listening to our content does not make you our client. It creates no advisory relationship.
No offer and no solicitation
Nothing we publish is an offer, or a request for an offer, to buy or sell a security, a fund or any other financial instrument. When we describe an investment or a strategy, we describe it. We do not recommend that you copy it.
Good Investing does not manage money, does not broker investments and does not arrange investments in funds. We are not registered as an investment adviser, broker or asset manager with BaFin, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or any other regulator.
Your decision
Before you invest, check if the investment fits your situation, your goals and your risk tolerance. A qualified, licensed advisor can help you with this. You are responsible for your own investment decisions.
3. Investing involves risk
- Stocks, bonds, funds, ETFs, certificates, options and other financial instruments can lose value. You can lose all the money you invest.
- Prices move with markets, currencies, interest rates and company news.
- Past performance is no guarantee of future results. This also applies to the track records of fund managers we interview or invite to our events.
- Examples, numbers and models in our content are for illustration.
4. Our own investments and conflicts of interest
Tilman Versch and our other authors invest their own money. We may own, buy or sell securities that we discuss. We may also have business relationships with people and companies that appear in our content, for example as Plus members, sponsors or event participants.
When we share our own view on a specific security, we disclose our relevant holdings and conflicts of interest right there, in that article, episode or post.
Our holdings can change at any time after we publish.
5. Guests, speakers and members speak for themselves
Many interviews, talks and articles feature guests: fund managers, company executives, authors and other investors. In Good Investing Plus, members share their own ideas and research.
- Guests, speakers and members share their own views. Their views are theirs alone and may differ from ours.
- They may own the securities they talk about.
- When a guest appears in our content, we do not recommend the guest, their fund or their firm.
- Fund managers who talk with us or speak at our events do not offer their funds through Good Investing. If you want to invest with a manager, you deal with that manager directly, under the fund’s own documents and the rules that apply to it.
- Content in Good Investing Plus is for members. Our Plus terms and conditions apply there.
6. How we earn money, and how we mark it
Good Investing earns money from Plus memberships, event tickets, sponsors and affiliate links. We want you to see where money flows.

Some companies sponsor our newsletter, podcast, website or events. We label sponsored content as “Sponsored” or “Ad”.
Some fund managers and companies pay a fee to present at, exhibit at or attend our events. We say so on the event page.
Sponsors and paying participants have no say over our editorial content. A sponsorship is no recommendation of the sponsor.

When a page or download was made with significant help from AI, we say so on it. We do this voluntarily, in the spirit of Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act.
AI can make mistakes. If you find one, please tell us at .
8. Accuracy and updates
We research our content carefully and use sources we believe are reliable. Still, mistakes happen and information gets old.
